The company bears the name Zum Dorfkrug Produktions- und Handelsgesellschaft (The Village Pub Production and Trading Company) and is based in Neu Wulmsdorf. However, it is best known under its brand name, Sylter Salatfrische (Salad Freshness of Sylt).
1. In 2012 you are an exhibitor at the Gourmet Plaza, the central marketplace for gourmet food. What made you decide to be there?
It was a recommendation from Marketinggesellschaft der niedersächsischen Land- und Ernährungswirtschaft (Marketing Company of the Lower Saxon Agricultural and Food Industry). We see the Gourmet Plaza is a marketplace for high-quality information on our new products under the brand name Zum Dorfkrug (The Village Pub) and for presenting our premium product Sylter Salatfrische.
2. Sylter Salatfrische is a sauce for the creative cuisine. What can trade visitors expect to see at your stand in Düsseldorf?
It will be the first time that we are presenting Sylter Salatfrische and a range of other new products at a trade fair, with opportunities to taste these. The other products include, for instance, red berry compote, vanilla sauce and mild tomato sauce.
3. How important is the Gourmet Plaza at a food fair for you?
The Gourmet Plaza is the central marketplace for gourmet food and has a special position that is not affected by the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. With this ideal place at the transition point between InterMopro and InterMeat, we are expecting to put a high priority on maintaining contacts with existing customers while also finding time to make new contacts.
